Week in photos
As time progresses it gets lighter and lighter as I drive into work. It is not hard to envision daylight soon.

Evening is even closer on some days. I could almost see the sun on Monday evening as I went to the dentist. (Granted, I left a little early for that.)

Tuesday was weird as the weather looked OK in one direction and stormy in the other.

Even by mid-mid-morning it still looked strange.

As I spent all of last week at the customer site, this week was dealing with lots of little problems that built up while I was away.
Like, does the different one stand out well enough?

Does my stick for poking things back into place in the freezer work well enough?

Our newest engineer, who graduated from MIT, says she thinks my poking stick works fine.

But, that’s MIT for you…
We had a bit of an ice storm later in the week. Everything was sparkly due to a coating of ice.

If you recall, my wife had not been able to get the birthday cake she wanted for herself on her birthday 6 weeks ago. (https://fbhjr.dreamwidth.org/1245442.html / https://fbhjr.livejournal.com/1256062.html )
So, Thursday she made her own:

It took her about 2 hours, most of which was watching a movie while it cooked. So, I don’t see why a professional bakery wouldn’t be able to do it.

I made another best friend on PokemonGo.

Friday was game night. Our hosts had their Roomba going. My wife is scared of Roombas.

We had "Make your own" Jambalaya. Jambalaya normally has a bunch of different things in it, but due to various people’s food allergies, everything was cooked separate and you put in what you wanted.
My wife’s finished cake was there too.

We played a castle game.

It involves you making 2 castles, one in combination with the person to either side of you. Your score is the lowest of those two castles.

Mine were very different.

I ended up with 55 points for the tall one and 45 for the wide one. So, I got 45 points.

My wife still had some cake left, so we brought it home.

Saturday my wife wanted steak, so we went to the steak house with the Texas theme and sat under the rattlesnake.

Then, I went off to Lois Lane for my comic books.

Then, back through Worcester to home.
