Friday with the kids
Friday morning we set off for the de Cordova sculpture museum.

The kids were very happy as there were many Pokestops and gyms there at the museum.

They had a summer camp there. That seemed cool for me. I never had a summer camp that cool when I was young.

The kids had different reactions to the different sculptures.

They were particularly impressed with the hammer in this one.

But, they liked the Pokestuff.

As we are on different teams, we changed ownership of several gyms several times.

I did have to convince them that the big tree was not an actual exhibit.

Some of the exhibits were philosophical.

There was a fair bit of walking and climbing around the grounds.

They had one thing indoors where folks add string to a display.

We added a few strings.
Then we headed off to the beach.

It’s not a huge swimming area. We used to go there with their father decades ago as it was close and cheap.

Not everyone rushed right for the water.

Just as well. As soon as I got to my knees they called everyone out of the water for a "safety check".

They kept us out for 12 minutes. The crayfish took the chance to come through and look for things stirred up.

But, it took off when the folks went back in.

I wasn’t the only one who went in then.

Some folks still waited.

A woman offered to take out photo together.

She was surprised when I said "just drop the camera there, I’ll swim over and get it."
She hadn’t seen a water proof camera with a float before.
It is good it is waterproof.

My wife did join us.

They stayed in longer than me.

Then we headed home and made pizza for dinner. Everyone got their own style.
Gabriele had a "shaved steak and blueberry" pizza.

Then we played Dominion.

We went to bed fairly early as we were heading off first thing in the morning.
