Week in photos

So last Sunday morning we had snow.

By the afternoon it had mostly melted.


By Monday morning it was back again?


It only seemed to be snowing from where I live and north.


The good news, it dropped the pollen level a lot.


The "Accurate Weather" app seemed surprised by the snow.


And, it kept going all day. That was a fair bit.



The roads were bad. And, lots of folks left early.


And, it was a good bit of snow when I left work.


But, how bad could the traffic be?



It hadn’t melted by Tuesday, but the weather was better.


And, everyone decided to go to work.


Of course, not everyone drove well.
This is a truck in the high speed lane going by a sign saying "no trucks in the high speed lane".


This didn’t end well for everyone.



Because of lots of bad weather this week, not as much in the way of nice sunrises or sets.


Friday was game night. yebo made corn chowder and my wife made chicken soup.

(I’m leery of corn chowder after getting second degree burns over all of one foot from it back in 1984…)

Folks seemed to like the food.


We played Mysterium again. We lost when I was the ghost, but won when Yebo was the ghost.


Then, we switched to Bandu.


Even the folks with their Phd in game theory can only do so much with a game of placing blocks on top of each other.


There was a lot of thought put into things.





My wife and I had thought about doing something today, but she is still not feeling well. So, mostly stayed home.
The doves were most impressed.


I did get good news that my car is paid off.

I was quite happy with the "no more car payments" idea.

We did go out for some shopping.
The app again thought it was cold. I think it forgot Monday.


We ate at a Chinese restaurant near where I used to work 7 years ago. The food was only OK. I think because they do most of their business on weekdays so weren’t really ready today.
I did think it funny that the fancy "ristorante" across the street came over to buy cooked rice from the bargain Chinese place.

I guess "why cook it yourself where there is a lot across the street", right?

I'm glad the snow is at your place and not over here.
Once April has arrived I rather have Spring looking forward too and summer dresses instead of snowboots.
Still, I must admit I kinda missed having some snow this winter (and nooooo there's no need to send me some of yours)

Snow! I find snow so amazing (because I have never experienced it). It looks lovely but I'm sure it's just really freakin' cold.
