Game night

The second Friday of every month yebo and zosh host a game night. We’ve only started doing it the last few months, but it is a lot of fun.
They make dinner for us, and we bring as many snacks as we can carry. Well that we can carry along with the games we bring.
This month, they made tacos:

Everyone seemed to enjoy these a lot. (I did too, but the corned beef still wins for me…)

We all managed to sit down at the table and eat together. It almost seemed like a Norman Rockwell moment.

But, it was tacos.

As has been the habit the last couple of months, the guys played games in one room while the gals visited in the other. (There is some debate over counting Gossip as a game. There do seem to be winners and losers…)

We played the Girl Genius card game.

palusbuteo was very tired and some of us (me) took shameless advantage of his confusion about the rules.

We did play a couple of other games as well. Then, about 11:30 I heard my wife snoring from their couch, so we headed home. (She had very little sleep Thursday night, and I was surprised she stayed awake as long as she did. Usually I’m the one saying “can we please go home and go to sleep…)


Anyhow, it was a good time. I’m glad it’s becoming a regular thing.
