A busy day

This morning my wife and I set out to get my haircut. The woman who cuts my hair seems to be ready for me 15 minutes before my appointment, or 30 minutes after. Sadly, today was the latter. But, it got cut.
The usual sort of talk was going on there. I can’t help but hear and wonder: “has anyone studied this sort of behavior from an anthropological standpoint?”

Next it was over to the troupe storage locker where my wife and I unpacked the car from last week’s trip to Mobile.
It was fairly satisfying to take that clam off and put it back in the storage shed.
Sadly, the strange noise the car was making that had been put down to the clam was still there after we took it off. So, there may be a trip to the garage in its future.

Next it was over to [livejournal.com profile] yebo & [livejournal.com profile] zosh’s house. They’ve had some bookcases in their garage for a while and needed them brought up to the room they’re redoing upstairs.
There was a good bit of dust and mold on them. But, we got them up stairs despite it.
Then, the four of us went out to lunch at a new place that opened where the Bugaboo Creek Steakhouse had been.
It was OK.

Soon after my de-molding shower, [livejournal.com profile] perrin_o_ravnos & [livejournal.com profile] blue_micha dropped by.
We spent most of the afternoon talking about Mobile and some of the things that had gone on there.

Finally, after the sun had gone down, I went off to the supermarket to get us stuff for supper and a turkey for Thursday. The biggest I could find was only 16 pounds, but that will probably be enough for 6 people. Hope so, we’ll see.

Sadly, no pictures today. I just didn’t have any hands free for holding the camera.

Awwww. :/

Well, I know another fun photo post is around the corner, so will wait for the next installment.

Glad the day was pretty productive.

My Subaru had been making this horrible droning noise for a little bit, whenever going up to 30 or 50-60 mph. Like, deafening. I just got it back from it's 60k tuneup, and turns out it was one wheel bearing. It sounds awesome now (and by awesome I mean it's very quiet :D )
So hopefully your Soob will have an 'easy' fix.

16 pounds is GREAT for 6 people! Probably 10-12 would have done the job.

I am so looking forward to Thanksgiving!
