Snow day

Yesterday the snow set in, so I headed home early.


The roads were a bit messy.


You can see I drove into the car.


This morning there was a lot of snow on the trees.




I got an email from work saying that the building where I worked had lost power and I should work from home.
So, I did. Got a fair bit done.

About 2PM my wife and I cleaned off our cars. It had warmed up and was easy.

This evening I was thinking of going to the movies when my wife reminded me I had promised to cook 10 pounds of corned beef for tomorrow’s game night.

I had been home all day.
Wish I had remembered it then.
Ah well. I can’t bring 10 pounds of raw meet to game night. So, good on my wife for remembering.
Just wish I had thought of it sooner…
