This week’s practice

Originally there was a forecast of snow today, but it turned out fairly nice.


Next week we’re doing a Science Fiction convention at Smith College. We’re going to be doing a long sword class, so we worked on that.


I still can’t sword fight. I could lift one, but that was about it.
Disappointing.

But, others practiced.


I can at least look up the things in the books, even if I can’t do the fights.

What is happening in that picture? Did he wack the guy in the head with his sword?

We think he is throwing his sword away to grab the other person.
But, as is often the problem with instructions written in another language half a millennia ago, it isn't totally clear.
