Very sad

As I turn the calendar into February, the "Frank in Australia" disappears.
Sad.
That was the best vacation we've had in a long time.
I miss it.

I'm trying to catch up with folks posts I missed while traveling.
I'm going through alphabetically and have only gotten up to the E's...
But, I'm trying.

Our plane from Melbourne loads in 10 minutes.
It's been a great trip.
Hopefully all will go well on the way home...

We're back from our two days in New Hampshire.
Today was a rain out, but yesterday we had a lot of fun in the lake.
The good news was I didn't have to go to work today, but do for all morning tomorrow.
Then, more adventures.
Some day I'll get around to the photos...

Drove the 1200miles/2000km straight through.
Got home about 3:30 in the morning.
But, get to sleep in my own bed.

I often hear things in a strange way.

Today we were taking the monorail back to where we parked when I had one of those "what?" moments.

As we pulled into Epcot and they were telling us about all the fun things we could do there (assuming they were still open and they weren't) they said what sounded to me like:

"And, have yourself an adventure with our new ride Sauron!"

I looked over at my wife.
"Sauron? One ring to rule them all?"
"Soaring," she said.
"Ah, that makes much more sense."

I put it down to being tired and confused from the "let there be peace on Earth" fireworks show.
Peace on Earth. High Explosive.
Sauron would fit right in.

Made it to MD and the godkids. Tired.

We made it back home. Yay!
It's still Christmas here! It's like a Christmas miracle!

I hope everyone out there had a good Christmas and is doing well!

We're sitting here in the Orlando airport waiting to get on our plane home.
It has been a very nice 5 days, but I will be glad to be home as well.
My wife's relatives are back home, even though they live down here, so we will see them tomorrow.
Merry Christmas, or other winter holiday of your choice, to all!
